Summer Trip Camp for boys with ADHD, anxiety or learning differences — Ryan Wexelblatt, LCSW

Checking out Ellis Island during Summer Trip Camp.
During each week of Summer Trip Camp we are on day trips and at the beach on Mondays and Tuesdays. Wednesday we leave for our weekly overnight trip and return on Friday.

There are executive function summer programs - they primarily sit in an office and work on academic executive functioning skills. I can't imagine anything I'd want to be doing less in the summer then talking about school, sitting in an office.

We give executive function skill building strategies a practical application by applying them to our weekly day and overnight trips.

Phones and electronics are not allowed at camp, this not only significantly increases conversation but it increases independent problem solving skills.

Summer Trip Camp is for boys ages 11 to 15 who need help improving their independent skills, executive functioning and social thinking skills.
