Teaching middle schoolers with ADHD about boredom — Ryan Wexelblatt (ADHD Dude)
In this video from Trip Camp I teach the kids about tolerating boredom.
While tolerating boredom can be extremely difficult for people with ADHD, it is a “social skill”.
Many kids with ADHD struggle with perspective taking (understanding others’ thoughts and how they’re coming across to others) thus they may not always realize how they’re presenting as disengaged or bored.
All videos for kids are in the “Dude Talk” playlists at the ADHD Dude YouTube channel. In the Trip Camp playlists you can hear/see the kids during these lessons, which I find a lot of kids like to see.
